Ganta Foundation
The Ganta Foundation is a Latvian humanitarian organization dedicated to providing critical medical support in the war-affected regions of Ukraine, particularly in areas located near the front line.
Our core mission is to evacuate wounded individuals from frontline areas to medical facilities where they can receive urgent and specialized care. These life-saving operations are carried out entirely by volunteers from Latvia, whose commitment and dedication make this work possible.
Over the past year, the Foundation has successfully evacuated more than 4,000 wounded Ukrainian service members. By ensuring rapid access to medical treatment, these evacuations have significantly reduced the risk of death from complications and helped prevent avoidable amputations and permanent disabilities.
Another key objective of the PalidziPalīdzēt project is to strengthen Ukraine’s healthcare system by supplying hospitals and medical facilities with essential medical equipment, devices, and consumable supplies. These resources are vital for maintaining uninterrupted medical services, supporting healthcare professionals, and saving lives under the extremely challenging conditions created by the ongoing war.
Through these efforts, the Ganta Foundation remains committed to providing practical, timely, and effective humanitarian assistance to those who need it most.
