About Us - St. John's Church, Riga

The purpose of Riga St. John's Congregation is to unite believers in Christ in a common fellowship of faith by fostering Christian faith and teaching a Christian way of life. The mission of Riga St. John's Congregation is to proclaim the Good News - the Gospel.

Faith - We believe that God sent His Only Son to suffer, die, and rise again, so that we might receive forgiveness of sins for a renewed life, and at its end — life eternal in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Congregation - Riga St. John's Congregation gathers around the Word of God. In it, Christian faith is sustained by the message of forgiveness of sins in Christ, and by God's commandments, it is taught how to love one another as oneself.
